Happy Monday everyone!

Today I have a new giveaway from the lovely people at Lifestyle Bakery!

I’m not one to eat bread everyday, because I aim to keep my diet varied (which helps to make it nutritious), but when I do eat bread I like to have good quality bread. Thankfully there are many good quality breads around such as Lifestyle Bakery which can help us make a healthier choice when choosing bakery items.   

Lifestyle Bakery has been in business for over 10 years and their products are distributed nationally. They are committed to creating healthy, tasty and unique baked goods that meet the nutritional needs of their customers and as a result pride themselves in keeping up with the latest trends in healthy eating. No artificial preservatives or colours are used since they endeavour to keep their products as pure and simple as possible. They bake to four very different selections of products that meet different dietary needs. Healthy Living – Diet Choice Loaf
Our Diet Choice loaf is low carb and is used by many body builders, those seeking to control their weight and people with diabetes. A study from the University of WA has shown that when consuming this bread it significantly reduces food intake within a meal by approximately 30-15% for the subsequent meal. Lupin is a legume that is high in fibre, protein and has good levels of magnesium, omega nutrients, zinc and calcium amongst other nutrients.

I didn’t even know it till yesterday when it turned up in my lunch box, but my favourite filling is duck motadella with loads of rich creamy avocado and tomoato. Gee my husband is good at sandwiches! And surprises!

Turkey, Avocado, finely diced Mesclun lettuce, topped with melted Gruyère cheese, spritzed with Balsamic Vinegar, on a piece of toasted Sprouted Grain- Spelt & Chia Seed Bread!!!

My yummiest sandwich filling is always just vege for me – no meat in sandwiches. I have lettuce, cucumber, tomato, olives, home made pickled beetroot, little bit of cheese (very finely sliced tho), and avo used as a spread. Love it.

Simple… egg and salad with raw onion, homemade mayo, fresh green leaves, ripened tomatoes and loads of cracked black pepper.

I LOVE ham and cheese toasted sandwiches, especially when I do them in the George Foreman with the butter on the outside. So perfect for a cold day with a mug of pumpkin soup! My toasted ham & cheese sandwich is what I have missed most since going wheat free. I have tried a couple of breads but not really liked them and been reluctant to try others. Would love this opportunity to try a good quality bread that I can actually have!

I am proud to say I have finally found a fantastic supplier of GF bread, with my favourites being mulitgrain & chia rolls, so thankyou Lifestyle Bakery from the bottom of my heart. Can’t remember how many years i longed for a hamburger, and now my dream is a reality. So GF hamburgers are back on the menu for me and I’m loving the taste sensation!

Because I am on a gluten lactose free diet I need something to awaken my taste buds. With the delicious taste of lifestyle bread my favorite filling is a spread of mighty mite layered with avocado plus chicken with a layering of grilled vegetables.

Favourite sandwhich filling is:
homegrown and roasted cold beef with homemade tomato chutney and varigated lettuce. Oh, and lots of salt and pepper too.
OR shredded boiled chicken, gluten/dairy/egg free mayonnaise and varigated lettuce with salt and pepper

I have liked both Facebook pages, my favourite sandwich filling is an old classic sliced banana with a little butter and some low gi cane sugar, the low gi cane sugar adds depth to the taste making a more grown up and healthy banana sandwhich
