A Quick Guide on How to be Health Food Lover (and how to maximise your nutrition):
- Eat whole foods and limit refined foods, where possible
- Eat real food and avoid frankenfoods
- Include a small amount of fermented foods at most meals to help increase nutrient absorption + improve digestion
- Reduce anti-nutrients such as phytic acid by properly preparing grains, nuts, seeds and legumes via soaking, fermenting and sprouting
- Eat a wide variety of foods
- If eating animal products, make sure they are good quality
- Cook your own delicious meals (there are so many benefits to cooking your own foods)
- Enjoy your food
- Listen to your body

All my adult children are healthy eaters. Cooking at home is a challenge with one having Crohn’s, one vegetarian, and one vegan! I especially like the Kale and Strawberry smoothy!
