I love raw food! My latest dinner was half a red pepper stuffed with sunflower pate & nacho “cheese.”

I’ve been eyeing this book since before it came out. I had my first 100% raw meal about a month ago and I was hooked. It was amazing. I felt full, satisfied, but *not* bloated, fuzzy headed, etc. What a great giveaway, thanks!

Have you ever tried a raw food dish, if so what was it and what was it like?
raw fudge. it had some raw chocolate and nuts in it. it was similar to a larabar.
i found an online raw recipe for a zuchini/squash pasta that i really wanted to try, but i didn’t save it. =(
there are more and more raw foods recipes popping up that look so enticing. i would love to have a book like this to move towards more raw foods.

Hi Chelle! I was a raw vegan for quite some time, so I have tried MANY raw recipes and most were delicious! I especially like anything with massaged kale in it or “veggie” pasta made with the spiruli!

I will mention your lovely giveaway on my Thoughts on Friday link love post at A Moderate Life! :) Hugs! Alex@amoderatelife

I have only tried simple raw food dishes, such as salads. However, I would love to try a dessert, such as cheesecake, raw! :-)

I eat quite a few raw foods (mostly plain fruits and veggies). I’d love some ideas on making more-complex dishes.

I’d love to give this book a look! I’ve got a favorite raw recipe – cashew cream! Soooo good, and so easy! Just cashews, dates and salt! Definitely need to expand my experience in the raw food field though!

Michelle September 28, 2010 at 5:26 am

Wow that sounds great! I will have to try that! Thanks for entering the competition Stephanie.

I’ve tried all kinds of salads, zucchini pasta with raw marinara sauce, and banana-cashew pudding. Everything tasted delicious.

I have made raw cheesecake out of cashews. It was delicious, and a nice treat since I can’t have the ingredients in regular cheesecake.

Ohh sounds really interesting! I imagine that would be really creamy.

Mango guacamole – being an avocado-and-lemon girl, I hadn’t even guessed how deliciously sweet adding a mango would be. My cousin actually made the dip, and after pleading with him for the recipe, I hovered over the bowl of guacamole, telling myself, “One more carrot and I’m done! Nope, never mind.”

Thanks for the giveaway! :)

About 9 years ago, we did an all raw diet for about 3 weeks. I remember dehydrating a few meals so they were “cooked” but still raw. I think the oddest one was a hamburger made out of primarily eggplant. We loved trying all the new foods. There was a company that sold strictly raw food and we would go pick up meals from them. That was nice when we ran out of raw food ideas.
