Raw Chocolate Tahini Bars

Who says healthy cooking has to be hard? These are No-Cook Bars!

With these Raw Chocolate Tahini Bars all you need to do is melt, mix and set! They are so easy, simple and quick to make!

These are great as a treat every-now-and-again. They are high in magnesium (because of the Cacao), calcium (because of the sesame seeds).

You will need:

  • 5o g. of Cacao Butter, melted (~ 50ml or a 1/4 cup Cacap Butter, melted)
  • 2 tbsp. Raw Cacao Powder
  • 2 tsp. Rapadura sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Tahini

Directions:

  1. Melt the Cacao Butter: put the butter in a bowl, put that bowl within another bowl which has hot water in and stir to help it melt.
  2. In a seprate bowl mix the Cacao Powder, Tahini and Rapadura Sugar together, till it becomes a chocolate-y mixture.
  3. Add the butter to the choc mix and put into a container to set. After a few minutes of setting cut into slices and leave to set completely in the fridge or freezer.

Happy Eating,

Hi Michelle!

I don’t have any kitchen scales so I was wondering if you could provide a volume measurement for the cacao butter? I’d love to make these bars! They look beautiful! :)

Dear Michelle,
Thank you for your site. It’s great -I knew someone ‘out there’ knew what healthy really meant! I made your carob coconut drink this morning. I enjoyed it but I need to buy a better flavoured coconut milk. The sales lady went to look for another brand she had that was better on her own prompting but couldn’t find it
at the time. My husband liked it too. He’s not dairy intolerant or had to quit
caffeine like moi but I decided to share it with him anyway. I’m going to research
cacao butter for the tahini bars but I thought because chocolate has caffeine in it
(except very dark choc.- then it’s too bitter anyway) I would have to ‘play’ with carob and butter – see if it works out. Any advice would be most welcome. Thank you. Sincerely Patricia
