Thanks for the tweet that you were back this week Michelle! I missed you last week! This week I don’t have a recipe. Instead I posted about nutritionism, explaining what it is and discussing its application to the problems with infant formula. I hope you like it!

Hi, Michelle! Glad you’re back. And a belated congratulations on your one-year anniversary!

I’m posting this week about 11-year-old Birke Baehr and his impressive and inspirational talk on the state of the U.S. food system.

Since I posted the video on Tuesday, that post has gotten more than 1,200 pageviews. And that’s on top of the hundreds of thousands of views on You Tube and other blogs. The kid is touching a nerve. And I say amen to that.

Also, a fun thing that happened to me this week: Jamie Oliver recognized Spoonfed as one of his blogs of the month, and had some pretty nice things to say about me in his video newsletter. As you can imagine, that was pretty darn cool!

Spoonfed: Raising kids to think about the food they eat.
