Hi Everyone.

I’m back this week with another great giveaway. This one is from one of my affiliates: Changing Habits.

About Changing Habits and Cyndi O’Meara

Changing Habits is the company of Nutritionist Cyndi O’Meara. Cyndi is committed to spreading the word about what real food and nutrition can do for you.  Cyndi’s book Changing Habits Changing Lives is just about that: helping people move to a healthier diet and one that is rich in whole foods. How does she do this? By helping you one step at a time. That’s what I’ve loved about Cyndi’s book ever since I bought it a few years ago. She doesn’t give you too many things to worry about- she just helps you slowly change certain unhealthy habits into healthier ones!

Funnily enough about a year after I bought Changing Habits Changing Lives, my mum gave me a book called “Immunity- Why Not Keep It?” which is co-authored by Cyndi!

The thing that I would most like to change is my mind set. I want to get to that point when I’m out and haven’t prepared dinner at home already that it is easy to think of healthy meals that I can prepare quickly. have grown up on Take away myself, I don’t want that for my children.

The thing I would like to change the most is giving in to cravings for sweet things……I try and eat a handful of nuts or seeds or dried fruit, but regularly give in to eating a biscuit or muffin, etc. I would love to be able to cut out sugar almost altogether….a big challenge, but I have seen other people do it, and can see so many health benefits for everyone.

Hi, I am entering this competition because I would love to be able win this package to give it away to a friend. I already have these two books and they have changed my way of living and eating for the better. I keep lending the books to friends and have seen great changes in their lives too. But I want MY books back!!

Hi Megan.

These books would be great as a gift! They are great books aren’t they! As soon as I read them I started eating butter (and cut out margarine completely) as well as many other healthy changes.
Oh I know what you mean..I once lent my books to someone..and got them back many months later haha. But I didn’t mind, it’s great to share the information!

Thanks for entering!

Definitely chocolate. I eat far too much of the stuff, and I know if I changed that habit I would lose heaps of weight!

I would love to stop allowing my kids to eat so much processed foods. I need direction on how to break this habit. It often is just too easy but I know my childrens behaviour is effected by it.

Hi Colleen.

These books will definitely help with direction- it’s been so helpful to me! Thanks for entering and good luck!

Great giveaway!!!

I would love to make better snack choices and re-train my body to crave nice healthy things instead of sugary/high calorie/high additive foods. I would also love to successfully change my portion sizes to a more suitable size.

I want to stop losing control and diving into bags of cookies or candy. I’m like an alcoholic, it is not fun at all and it ruins my otherwise good eating habits!

Just finishing a course of chemo and I now realise just how sick I have been prior to getting cancer. So what to do…..50 and need a total change of diet. Husband included. Too much of the over indulgence of some things and you pay the price. So with the books ( and the new Thermomix I have just ordered) I am going to set myself a different path and look forward to a healthier existence.

I just listened to Cyndi on The Body Image Revolution teleseminar. Great stuff! I would like to quit noshing on potato chips. That seems to be my downfall, salty snacks.

I really need to make lifelong habit changes since I have done really well on healthy diets before but I always seem to revert back to my old habits. Each time I regain my lost weight plus interest. My habits include skipping breakfast and snacking on biscuits to try to “fill” the gap.

Well, honestly, I don’t want these books for me. I want them for my sisters. She’s overweight and very closed-minded and I believe if she sat down and actually read what I’ve read, she could change. Alas, it’s not easy to cram months of research into a person. I believe that these two books would be a great medium for that.
