These have a bit more of a kick than the original kale chip recipe, which is fine by me as i’m quite fond of spicy! These little kale chips might not look like it but they have a lot of flavour!

Spicy Kale Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. Homemade Tabasco Sauce
  • 1/2 a capsicum, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. hummus
  • 2 Tbsp. cashews, soaked for 2 hours
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • water, to thin out mixture if needed
  • 1 bunch of organic kale

How to:

  1. Wash your and dry your kale. Tear the kale leaves away from the stem and tear them into bite size pieces.
  2. In a blender add the all the ingredients except the kale and blend till smooth.
  3. Massage the mixture into the kale leaves till they are evenly coated.
  4. Bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 150 degrees C till crispy.

Enjoy!
