These have a bit more of a kick than the original kale chip recipe, which is fine by me as i’m quite fond of spicy! These little kale chips might not look like it but they have a lot of flavour!
Spicy Kale Chips
Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. Homemade Tabasco Sauce
- 1/2 a capsicum, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. hummus
- 2 Tbsp. cashews, soaked for 2 hours
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- water, to thin out mixture if needed
- 1 bunch of organic kale
How to:
- Wash your and dry your kale. Tear the kale leaves away from the stem and tear them into bite size pieces.
- In a blender add the all the ingredients except the kale and blend till smooth.
- Massage the mixture into the kale leaves till they are evenly coated.
- Bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 150 degrees C till crispy.
Enjoy!
